CONTINUED INVESTIGATION INTO THE SALMONELLA CASE.
CAME TO DO ANOTHER INTERVIEW OF THE MANAGER REGARDING THE NEW INFORMATION WE RECEIVED. OUR INTERPRETER SPOKE WITH AURELIS AND CONFIRMED THAT SHE WAS VISITING WITH HER SISTER’S FAMILY WHILE HER NIECE WAS HAVING SYMPTOMS LATER TO BE A CONFIRMED CASE. AURELIS HERSELF HAD DIARRHEA BACK ON 8-3-22 AND WAS SENT HOME FOR FEELING A BIT UNDER THE WEATHER. WE SPOKE WITH HER SUPERVISOR EMILY (815-573-6300) TO LET HER KNOW ABOUT THE SITUATION WE WERE DEALING WITH, AND SHE STATED SHE HAD NO IDEA THAT THIS WAS GOING ON. ACCORDING TO HER, AURELIS WAS SENT HOME BECAUSE SHE WAS EXPERIENCING MINOR SYMPTOMS LIKE MUSCLE ACHES AND MIGRAINES AND ONCE, SHE SAID SHE WAS FEELING BETTER SHE WAS ASKED TO COME BACK BECAUSE THEY WERE SHORT STAFFED. NONE OF THE SYMPTOMS THAT SHE TOLD HER SUPERVISOR AT THE TIME WERE FOOD BORNE ILLNESS RELATED. SHE WAS SENT HOME EARLY THURSDAY. AT THIS POINT, AURELIS IS BEING ASKED TO LEAVE WORK AND GET TESTED. FROM HERE THE RESULTS OF HER TEST WILL DETERMINE WHEN SHE WILL BE ALLOWED TO RETURN TO WORK. |
